At least 2,584 megawatt of electricity is being produced from Turbela Dam, says administration.

An emergency situation has been declared on Dyke 18-B on Indus River near Dera Ismail Khan (DIK) from where flow of water is 169,000 cusecs, indicating a low level flood.According to IRSA, water inflow at Chasma barrage is 175,435 cusecs and outflow 169,996 cusecs while inflow at Marala on Chenab River is 54,234 cusecs and outflow 22,834 cusecs.At Haripur, water level at Tarbela has reached 1,437.26 feet while water inflow is 135,700 cusecs and outflow is 130,000 cusecs. Currently, Tarbela is producing 2,584 megawatt of electricity.
