The heat wave continues to scorch the country as temperature rose in southern Punjab and Sindh.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, weather will remain hot and dry in most parts of the country for the next 24 hours. However, light showers are expected in Kashmir. According to the temperature recorded in various cities of Pakistan, Faisalabad was measured 38 Celsius, Hyderabad 39, Karachi 34, Lahore 39, Multan 40, Nawabshah 43, Peshawar 39, Quetta 34 and 42 Celsius was recorded in Sukkur.
