PML-Q demands govt to implement written agreement

Chief Secretary and IG Punjab also attended the meeting

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League provided government team a copy of written agreement and demanded its implementation.

According to sources Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar acknowledged that government signed a written agreement with PML-Q and directed IG and Chief Secretary to improve their working relation with PML-Q.

On this occasion CM Usman Buzdar said that PML-Q is a reliable ally and government intends to fulfill its promises.

CM Punjab Usman Buzdar, Jahangir Tareen and Pervez Khattak represented government and on the other hand PML-Q team included Tariq Bashir Cheema, Moonis Elahi and Chaudhry Salik

Chief Secretary and IG Punjab also attended the meeting. Both sides discussed progress of development projects in Punjab and conveyed their reservations.

After the meeting, Jahangir Tareen said that meetings with GDA and BNP-M are also scheduled. Government will complete its term and government is not facing any problems.

He further said that MQM left cabinet, not the government. PTI is in contact with their leaders and MQM will soon return to the cabinet.

PML-Q leader Tariq Bashir Cheema said that there can be differences even in a house and they are thankful that government heard their concerns.

He further said that PML-Q had some reservations regarding development projects but government has ensured to accept our demands.
