Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Tuesday visited Naval Base Mehran.

Naval Chief Admiral Nauman Bashier briefed the PM about the PNS attack. The PM also viewed the P-3C Orions, which were destroyed during the attack. Gilani said that terrorists would not succeed in their nefarious designs. The PM also visited PNS Shifa Hospital and inquired about the health of injured persons. Gilani was received by Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, and Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Nauman Bashir.
