Federal cabinet deliberates on amendment to Army Act 1952.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan is chairing a session of the federal cabinet on Tuesday (today) to deliberate on 10-point agenda including amendment to Army Act 1952.

The participants will be briefed on Moody’s report in the meeting. Key decisions regarding the appointments of chief election commissioner (CEC), and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) members from Sindh and Balochistan are likely to be made.

The federal cabinet will hold consultations on issues pertaining to politics, economy and Kashmir. The decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) and the investment committee will be validated.

Furthermore, the meeting will approve temporary appointments of Member (Water) and Member (Power) Wapda. Briefings will be given on the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) and the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP). Pakistan Academy of Letters is also a part of the agenda.
