ECC approves hike in electricity price
The raise in electricity price is only for industrial users.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal government has decided to increase tariff of electricity by 11 paisa from next month.
A meeting of ECC under the chair of Finance advisor Hafeez Sheikh approved the hike in price of electricity on thursday. The price hike would not affect those consumers using 300 units of electricity per month.
The raise in electricity price is only for industrial users.
ECC also decided to increase wheat price from Rs1300 to Rs 1365 per 40Kg. ECC has formed a committee to convert Rs1860 billion payable by NHA into a grant.
The meeting also formed another committee to suggest how to utilize utility stores funds for BISP.
