PTI, allies express full confidence over decision of SC, PM Imran

An important meeting has been called on Monday (Dec 2) to review the complaints of the MPs.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary party has expressed its full confidence over the decisions of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the judiciary.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi chaired the joint meeting of the PTI parliamentary party and the allied parties which was held in the absence of the PM Imran.

The Foreign Minister took the participants in confidence on the recent COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s case, and the PM’s actions. The meeting said that the judiciary has always played a role in the development of the country, and is pillar of the state.

In the light of the Supreme Court’s decision, the parliamentary party has decided to start legislation immediately. The ambiguity in Article 243 will be removed by legislation.

During the meeting, Chief Whip of the PTI in the National Assembly, Malik Amir Dogar, and members of the NA raised some complaints regarding the funds. An important meeting has been called on Monday (Dec 2) to review the complaints of the MPs.
