Chief Justice chaired the meeting of committee for national judicial policy making (NJPMC).

CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that the judiciary has to work impartially. The committee reviewed data related to pending cases and targets of judicial policy. The CJP said that purpose of making the judicial policy was to improve the system of dispensing justice.He said that people should change their thinking that decisions could be taken according to their will. Chief justices of all high courts and federal shariah court were present in the meeting.
