Meetings with World Bank, IMF officials proved useful: Abdul Hafeez Shaikh

Hafeez Shaikh apprised IMF about the reforms made for the sustainability of the economy in Pakistan.

LONDON (Dunya News) - Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh said that meetings with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) officials proved useful during his visit to the United States.

Talking to the media at London’s Heathrow Airport, Abdul Hafeez Shaikh expressed that he talked to the heads of both financial institutions for the promotion of investment in Pakistan. He said both of the organizations, World Bank and IMF, were apprised about the reforms made for the sustainability of the economy in Pakistan.

Finance Advisor asserted that economic cooperation through mutual collaboration was also discussed with different countries.
