Resolution to file case against Hareem Shah submitted in Punjab Assembly
Hareem Shah revealed that she went to meet Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A resolution demanding filing of strict case against social media star Hareem Shah has been submitted in the Punjab Assembly after her viral TikTok video in the Foreign Office put a question mark on the security.
The resolution has been submitted by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member Sumera Komal. Its text stated that access to the top government office by a social media star is condemnable.
The resolution asked for an investigation against illegal entry inside the Foreign Office, and to start a case under serious provisions, and to take action against those who gave access to her inside the top office of the government.

On Oct. 23, after the viral TikTok video of Hareem Shah which raised series of questions on the Foreign Ministry, it was revealed that she entered with the people of Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s constituency who came to meet him.
According to sources, Hareem Shah used an adjoining room with the ‘Constituency Room’ where the meeting was scheduled to take place. It is usual for the Foreign Minister to meet the people of the constituency every few days in the Foreign Ministry, sources said.
Sources told that the entry log along with the record of people from FM Qureshi’s constituency was found.
The official, who allowed social media star to enter the FO on the day of arrival of constituency members, was identified, although his name was not released.
Speaking on the matter, TikTok star Hareem Shah expressed that she was not stopped from taking pictures or making a video inside the FO. “There were no restrictions nor anything was said to me regarding it”, she added.
TikTok star asserted that a man was standing in the room who helped her in making video and taking pictures upon asking.
Hareem Shah said, “My intentions were not wrong and I would not have done it if deemed inappropriate to me”.
The FO took notice of the incident and officials are interrogating the matter as to how the TikTok star reached the sensitive area where top leadership of the country holds meetings with heads of other states.
According to details, Hareem Shah uploaded a video on her TikTok account in which she can be seen inside the committee room at the Foreign Office. Questions have been raised over TikTok star Hareem Shah’s video which she recorded inside the Foreign (FO), Dunya News reported.
