ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Thursday said that Geneva declaration is a continuation of Pakistan s positive efforts.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Thursday, she said that some people in the country were talking about dividing the nation.

The special assistant said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will tomorrow address a public gathering in Muzaffarabad, adding that the whole nation will give a message of solidarity to the Kashmiris.

Dr Firdous went on to say that the federal government has not said anything regarding imposition of governor rule in Sindh and the law minister’s statement regarding Article-149 was misrepresented.

“Those who considers Sindh as grandfather’s shop do not even see piles of garbage,” she said and added piles of garbage can be seen in Sindh’s two biggest cities Hyderabad and Karachi.

"The people of Sindh are expecting that their province s rulers will come up with a solid strategy to address their problems," Dr Firdous said.

She said that the Sindh government has failed to provide relief to the people of Sindh, especially urban areas of the province.

The special assistant said federal government will leave no stone unturned in serving the people of Sindh, who have been ignored in the past.
