5.2 magnitude earthquake hit different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the richter scale rattled different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Dunya News reported on Thursday.

According to details, the earthquake hit Peshawar, Swat, Buner, Charsadda, Mohmand Agency, Swabi, Bajaur, Upper Dir, Malakand, Rawalakot, Battagram and adjacent areas.

The Met Office reported that the epicenter of the quake was Hindukush region of Afghanistan and its depth was two hundred and fifty one kilometers.

Earlier, an earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale had jolted Islamabad, parts of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir on Monday.

The earthquake had struck Phalia, Larkana, Kandhkot, Bagh and other cities and its epicenter was India-Kashmir border area.
