Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrives in London on two-day visit
FM Qureshi will also represent Pakistan at an international conference based on freedom of expression.
LONDON (Dunya News) - Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday was welcomed by Pakistan embassy officials at Heathrow Airport when he went to the United Kingdom to represent Pakistan at 19th Annual Commonwealth meeting.
FM Qureshi will also represent Pakistan at an international conference based on freedom of expression.
FM Qureshi expressed that he is also expected to attend a program organized by Pakistani community. He will also talk to international media and present the views of Pakistan on different issues.
According to Radio Pakistan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan will continue playing its due role in the Commonwealth.
He was talking to media before leaving for Britain on a two-day official visit, on Tuesday.
The Minister said he will be participating in an extraordinary meeting of the Commonwealth in the United Kingdom at the invitation of British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said he will have opportunity to meet his counterparts of other member states of the Commonwealth on the sidelines of the meeting.
The Minister said he will present Pakistan’s report about mandates of 2018.
