Mohsin Dawar demands Pakistan Army to leave Waziristan
Dawar unearthed reason and reality behind the attack on Khar Kamar checkpost.
WAZIRISTAN (Dunya News) – National Assembly Member (MNA) Mohsin Dawar, while repeating the demands of banned outfit Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and terrorists, said that Pakistan Army should leave Waziristan.
In an interview to foreign media from an unknown place, Dawar unveiled reason and reality behind the attack on Kharqamar check post that injured five Pakistan Army personnel and killed three attackers.
We now demand removal of Pakistan Army from Waziristan, said Dawar.
Earlier, Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leader Dr Alam had admitted that party leader Mohsin Dawar came with an armed group when Kharqamar check post in North Waziristan tribal district was attacked.
On May 26, a group led by Members of the National Assembly (MNA) and Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leaders Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir had assaulted Kharqamar check post, Boyya, North Waziristan tribal district on Sunday.
They wanted to exert pressure for release of suspected terrorists’ facilitator arrested the other day, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement told.
"Troops at the check-post exercised maximum restraint in the face of provocation and direct firing on the post," the army said.
Later, a soldier embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire with militants, who attacked Makki Garh checkpost in Shawal valley of North Waziristan. "Terrorists raided Makki Garh Post, Shawal Valley, North Waziristan," ISPR stated.
