PML-N submits requisition to summon Punjab Assembly session

Speaker is bound to call the assembly session within 14 days after submition of requisition.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday submitted a requisition in the provincial assembly secretariat to summon the Punjab Assembly session, Dunya News reported.

The requisition signed by PML-N members of the Punjab Assembly including Samiullah Khan, Malik Nadeem Kamran, Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Malik Ahmad Khan and others was submitted in the provincial assembly secretariat.

The PML-N lawmakers want to debate on various issues in the House including rising inflation and worsening law and order situation in Punjab.

As per the rules, the speaker is bound to call the assembly session within 14 days if a requisition is signed by not less than one-fourth members of the total strength of the House.
