CJP summons key session of judicial commission on April 4
The meeting will consider Justice (r) Qazi Muhammad Ameen's name for the appointment as SC judge
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khosa on Friday summoned the meeting of Judicial Commission for appointment of judges on April 4.
The meeting would be presided over by CJP Justice Asif Saeed Khosa.
The JCP will consider the appointment of judges in Supreme Court as seat lies vacant following the retirement of former chief justice Mian Saqib Nisar.
The meeting will consider the name of Justice (r) Qazi Muhammad Ameen for the appointment as Supreme Court judge.
It is pertinent here to mention that Justice (r) Qazi Muhammad Ameen has also served as Lahore High Court judge.
