78 arrested in police crackdown against kite flyers in Lahore
Police arrested 78 persons during crackdown against kite flyers in different parts of Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least 78 persons were arrested during police crackdown against kite flyers in different parts of Lahore on Sunday, Dunya News reported. The crackdown was launched on the instruction of SSP operations Mustansar Feroze.
According to police, 10 kite flyers were arrested from Cantt Division, 41 from Model Town Division, 14 from City Division, five from Civil Lines Division, three from Iqbal Town Division and five from Saddar Division.
Police also recovered hundreds of kites and spools of kite string from the arrested persons. Sources said that cases have been registered at various police stations of the city against kite flyers.
