President lauds AFIC role in treatment of heart diseases
President Alvi was speaking at International Cardiac Electrophysiology Conference at the AFIC.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – President Dr Arif Alvi on Friday lauded the efforts of Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) in treatment of heart diseases.
This he stated while speaking as a chief guest at the Annual International Cardiac Electrophysiology Conference at the AFIC. Delegations from United States, England, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and other countries also participated in the conference.
President Alvi said that heart diseases are spreading rapidly and lauded the role of AFIC in taking care and treatment of patients suffering from heart diseases.
Earlier, Adjutant General of Pakistan Army Lieutenant General Anwar Ali Hyder and Commandant AFIC Major General Sohail Aziz welcomed President Arif Ali on his arrival at the AFIC, says a press release issued by ISPR.
