Sub-Inspector Ayub was accused of killing a man by hanging during interrogation in Sheikhupura.

The victim, Arshad, was accused of kidnapping a girl and was in the Sheikhupura Sadar Police Station lockup. On late Tuesday night, he was brutally tortured and then strangled to death. The police registered a murder case againstSub-Inspector Ayub, who was the investigation officer in the case, and arrested him.Meanwhile, the family of victim blocked Lahore-Sheikhupura road to protest against the killing.
