Changes in police culture 'inevitable', says CM Buzdar

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar stressed on Tuesday that changes in police culture is ‘inevitable’ as the safety of public is the top priority of government.



Addressing Passing out Parade at Police Training School Multan, he maintained that improving the law and order situation in the province is the main concern of the Provincial Government.



Buzdar notified that Punjab police has contributed a lot in eliminating terrorism activities from the province.

He said numerous police peronnel laid their lives in the terrorism related incidents and ensured the safety of lives and properties of the public.



The Chief Minister on the occasion announced to upgrade the police training school Multan into Police Training College with promoting the post of SSP into DIG as the head of the institute.



Sardar Usman Buzdar inspected the parade and distributed medals and certificates among the recruits.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Chief Minister arrived in the city with a 19-vehicle protocol. All the shops were shut down on the occasion.
