New hospital with modern facilities inaugurated in Tirah Valley

The hospital would take over many acute services for treatment of poverty-stricken families.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – As life in Tirah Valley – main town of the volatile Khyber tribal area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in northern Pakistan – has returned to a semblance of normalcy, a new hospital has been opened there to ensure provision of essential healthcare facilities for the general public.

The new hospital equipped with modern healthcare facilities would take over many acute critical services.

Many tribesmen, women and children have been visiting the hospital for medical treatment.

Besides, the central mosque of the valley, which was destroyed by the terrorists, has been reopened after eight years and Friday prayers were offered there yesterday.

Brigade Sector Commander Shehryar Qureshi welcomed tribesmen who in return acknowledged the services of the Pakistan Army.
