RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – A man was sustained critical injuries when Indian army resorted to unprovoked firing at the Line of Control (LoC) in Khuiratta Sector targeting civil population on Thursday.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian forces as usual deliberately targeted civilian population, resultantly a citizen Muhammad Mushtaq resident of Tain Village sustained injuries.

He was rushed to hospital for medical assistance.

In 2018, the Indian forces have carried out more than 330 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary, resulting in the martyrdom of 14 innocent civilians and injuries to 65 others.

This unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing from the year 2017 when the Indian forces committed more than 1970 ceasefire violations.
