Police arrested 70 persons during crackdown against kite flyers in different parts of Lahore.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least 70 persons were arrested during police crackdown against kite flyers in different parts of Lahore on Sunday, Dunya News reported. The crackdown was launched on the instruction of DIG operations Waqas Nazir.

Police also recovered hundreds of kites and spools of kite string from the arrested persons. Sources said that cases have been registered at various police stations of the city against kite flyers.

According to police, 15 kite flyers were arrested from City Division, 13 from Cantt Division, 17 from Model Town Dicision, eight from Iqbal Town Division, two from Civil Lines Division and 15 from Saddar Division.
