Indian authorities detain Pakistan HC official
Pakistan lodged a strong protest over the arrest its High Commission official.
NEW DELHI (Dunya News) – Indian authorities on Sunday arrested a Pakistani High Commission official in New Delhi and kept under unlawful detention.
According to Dunya News sources, the High Commission official was kept under unlawful detention in New Delhi for several hours, however, the official was released after he was forcefully made to sign a note.
Pakistan lodged a strong protest over the arrest its High Commission official.
Diplomatic sources said that Indian act was a violation of the Vienna Convention and Pakistan has the right to retaliate to any such incident.
