Pakistan lodges protest against US drone attack

Pakistan lodged a protest with the United States over the Angoor Adda drone attack.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistan repeatedly warned that the continued drone attacks were counter-productive for the objectives of war against terrorism and will only contribute to strengthen the hands of terrorists.The statement further said that the government has raised this issue with the US authorities at every level.Meanwhile, Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir has lodged Pakistan’s protest with US Ambassador Cameron Munter over the drone attacks.
