PM Imran reaches China on four-day official visit

PM Imran will hold meetings with Chinese President Xi and PM Li Keqiang to discuss bilateral ties.

BEIJING (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan reached China on Thursday night on a four-day official visit. Chinese Minister for Transport Li Xiaopeng, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing and Ambassador of Pakistan to China Masood Khalid received the Prime Minister upon arrival in Beijing.

A high-level delegation -- including Finance Minister Asad Umar, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Planning Minister Khusro Bakhtayar, Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed, Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razaq Dawood, and Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal -- is accompanying the Prime Minister.

During his four-day visit to China, Prime Minister Imran Khan will hold meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang to discuss bilateral ties and sign various agreements.

Imran Khan will meet the head of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. He will also lay floral wreath at the Heroes Monument at Tiananmen Square on November 3.

The premier will also meet his Vietnamese counterpart in Shanghai on November 5 and will address the China International Import Expo.
