Ghani said he would report their absence to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani on Monday took strict notice of the absence of several ministers during the assembly session.

Ghani while directing the ministers concerned to ensure their participation in the next assembly session said he would report their absence to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Opposition members also expressed displeasure over no-show of the ministers and said the latter were showing a lack of interest in assembly sessions.

The assembly adopted a resolution pertaining to the issuance of blue passports to lawmakers and urged the government to expedite efforts in order to secure the release of Pakistanis languishing in Saudi jails.
