DIG survives suicide attack in Quetta

The DIGs guard was killed, and nine others were injured in the attack at his residence.

A suicide bomber crashed his car into the main gate of Police Deputy Inspector General (DIG-Investigation) Wazir Khan Nasir’s house near the IG Office in Quetta on Thursday morning.A police man was killed and the DIG, his son, daughter and six others were injured in the explosion. The house of the DIG (crime), that was adjacent to the Nasir’s house, and six vehicles were also damaged in the incident while window panes of nearby buildings were broken.The injured were taken to the Quetta Civil Hospital and later, the DIG was shifted to the Quetta Central Military Hospital (CMH).
