Lahore: Students of University of Sargodha end protest at Canal Road
The students of University of Sargodha were protesting against the non-issuance of degrees.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The students of University of Sargodha’s Lahore Campus ended their protest at the Canal Road on Tuesday night after successful negotiations with university authorities and police.
The Canal Road, which remained shut all day long due to students protest, was reopened for all kind of traffic.
Earlier, The students of University of Sargodha’s Lahore Campus staged a protest against the non-issuance of degrees and blocked the Canal Road. Besides Canal Road, the traffic remained gridlocked for hours at Ferozepur Road, Zahoor Elahi Road, Jail Road and many areas of Gulberg.
People faced a great difficulty in commuting to their workplaces and educational institutes in the morning.
