Three-day a week gas loadshedding announced for Punjab industries

A notification of three-day a week gas loadshedding for industries has been issued.

In spite of orders issued by the president and the prime minister, gas loadshedding to industrial units of Punjab has been continued unabated.According to the notification, factories of Punjab are facing gas loadshedding due to a gas shortfall. Punjab has been divided in two zones and the first region – Lahore, Sheikhupura and Sahiwal – will face three-day gas loadshedding from tomorrow.The second region – Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur and Islamabad – will face gas loadshedding from April 6 to April 8. On the other hand, industrialists are of the view that Punjab was facing a step-motherly attitude.
