PTI's Arif Alvi declared as return of President Office election
The official result of count has been prepared on form-VII and forwarded to the federal government
ISLAMABAD (APP) – Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and Returning Officer of Presidential election Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza on Wednesday declared Arif-ur-Rehman Alvi as return of the election of office of President of Pakistan.
Earlier, the Chief Election Commissioner and Returning Officer of Presidential polls prepared official final result of Presidential election in the presence of representatives of three Presidential candidates and media at ECP Secretariat.
The official result of count has been prepared on form-VII and forwarded to the federal government after receipt of original record from the Presiding Officers, for issuance of formal notification by the federal government.
According to consolidated result of presidential election announcement by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday, Arif Alvi obtained 352 votes while Fazl-ur-Rehman got 184 and Aitzaz Ahsan received 124 votes in Presidential polls.
Out of total received votes, Arif Alvi got 212 votes from National Assembly and the Senate, 33 votes from Punjab Assembly, 22 votes from Sindh Assembly, 40 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and 45 from Balochistan Assembly.
Similarly, Fazl-ur-Rehman obtained 131 votes from National Assembly and the Senate, 25 from Punjab Assembly, 13 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and 15 from Balochistan Assembly. Aitzaz Ahsan got 81 from National Assembly and the Senate, one from Punjab Assembly, 39 from Sindh Assembly and three from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
