DG Khan: PML-Qs Awais Leghari wins by-elections

PML-Qs candidate Awais Khan Leghari succeeded in by-elections of DG Khans constituency NA 172.

The seat of NA 172 became vacant after the death of Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari. The by-elections for this constituency were fought between PML-Q’s Awais Leghari, PML-N’s Hafiz Abdul Kareem and PPP’s Shabbir Leghari. According to unofficial results, PML-Q’s Awais Leghari secured 62,355 votes, PML-N’s Hafiz Kareem 41,589 votes whereas PPP’s Shabbir Leghari managed to get 17,254 votes.
