Temperature drops after rainfall in Kashmir, North Punjab

Temperatures lower due to rainfall in northern areas of Pakistan.

The temperatures of plain areas have dropped due to rainfall in most areas of North Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. However weather in interior Sindh remains hot. According to meteorological department, yesterday the rainfall recorded in Balakot was 46 mm, 25 mm in Para Chinar, 23 mm in Muzaffarabad and 17 mm in Islamabad. In Gujranwala division, hailstorm occurred along with strong winds. The weather will remain dry throughout the country in next 24 hours. However there is a slight chance of rainfall in few areas.
