Three killed in aerial firing during Independence Day celebrations

Three people were killed and 21 were wounded in aerial firing during Independence Day celebrations.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – At least three people were killed and 21 others sustained injuries in aerial firing and fireworks display in various cities across the country in the wee hours of Tuesday, Dunya News reported.

A youth was killed in Five Star Chourangi area of Karachi during fireworks display. Aerial firing on the occasion of Independence Day in various areas of the city also claimed a life while 11 other people were wounded.

In Rawalpindi, a youth was killed while eight other people were wounded in aerials firing in different areas of the city. A 15-year-old girl was among the wounded.

At least two people were wounded in aerial firing in Faisalabad on the occasion of Independence Day.
