The lake is a destination for tourists who excitedly make their way from all over the globe. Even though it is the month of August, the lake is still surrounded by thick sheets of snow and ice from all four corners.

Located near the remote town of Matta, Mahnoor Lake lies 12,400 feet high; a definite challenge for all the tourists and hikers. Owing to a lack of proper infrastructure and roads, the tourists face great difficulties in reaching the easy on the eye attraction. Sometimes it takes almost 18 hours for the determined hikers to reach their desired destination, but according to them, it is definitely worth it.

“We have reached Mahnoor Lake after a very long trek. However, the scenes are definitely worth the time. The Lake is very beautiful and after seeing the majestic site, all of us are now fresh again”, said one tourist talking to Dunya News.
“After seeing the Lake, all of us chanted in joy because the path was really weary and difficult but it was all worth it. The Lake is so easy on the eye and very beautiful. I would advise everyone that they should visit this amazing site at least once in their life”, exclaimed another excited tourist.

The case of Mahnoor Lake is a clear indication of the fact that struggle is almost always worth it and when the end destination is as beautiful as Mahnoor Lake, people would love to take the leap and make the struggle often.
