FIA to block Red Book enlisted terrorists bank accounts and IDs
716 terrorists included in the 'Red Book' are set to face serious action by the government.
(WebDesk) - A total of 716 names of terrorists that were included in the ‘red book’, have now been forwarded to the Interior Ministry, National Administratiand Pakistani Embassies by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
Along with the names, the FIA has further stated that the government of Pakistan should block all ID cards, passports and bank accounts associated with the terrorists enlisted in the red book with an immediate effect. They further instructed the government to place the names of all 716 terrorists on the Exit Control List (ECL).
According to the FIA, the main reason for taking this action is to identify all the terrorists that have managed to escape Pakistan and the ones that are operating overtly and residing abroad.
