Barrister Khalid Jawed Khan appointed AG

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interim president Sadiq Sanjrani has on Thursday appointed barrister Khalid Jawed Khan as Attorney General for Pakistan.
Khan is son of former Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) leader N.D Khan.

As per details garnered, interim president and Senate chairman has signed on the summary in this regard. Barrister Khan’s professional career spans more than two decades whereas he has also served as legal assistant to former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
Hailing from Karachi, Khan got his LLB degree from London whereas he completed his BCL degree from Oxford University. Khan got LLM from Howard University.
Khan became lawyer in Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2004.
Khan has also served as Sindh advocate general whereas he actively participated in movement against then dictator Pervez Musharraf.
