CJP summons FBR chairman along with record of smuggled cars
The approval to use smuggled cars was given by Fawad Hassan Fawad, CJP told.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday has summoned Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Tariq Pasha along with the record of smuggled cars.
During the hearing at Supreme Court (SC) Lahore registry, CJP said he knows that FBR, Excise and Taxation Department and customs officials use smuggled cars and that he can tell Prime Minister (PM) has not given approval for this.
The approval was given by former principal secretary to PM Fawad Hassan Fawad, he told.
