Sehwan Sharif: Four killed in Mazda, rickshaw collision

At least four people were killed in collision between a Mazda and a rickshaw near Sehwan Sharif.

SEHWAN SHARIF (Dunya News) – At least four people were killed in collision between a Mazda and a rickshaw at the Indus Highway in Chahchar area near Sehwan Sharif on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

According to details, a Mazda collided with a rickshaw at the Indus Highway in Chahchar area after which the CNG kit of the rickshaw caught fire as a result four people travelling in the rickshaw were burnt to death.

The ill-fated rickshaw was going to Hyderabad from Urs of Hazeat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan. One of the deceased was identified as Badar Munir resident of Faisalabad while the identity of other three is not yet known.

DC Jamshoro Fareed-ud-Din Mustafa reached the spot after the accident and supervised the rescue operation. According to Fareed-ud-Din Mustafa all the deceased belonged to Punjab. The bodies of the deceased were later shifted to hospital.

DC Jamshoro also prohibited plying of vehicles with CNG kits at the Indus Highway.
