National Finance Commission distributes resources to provinces according to their population

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A petition to stop holding general elections has been filed in the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday.

The petition was filed by social activist Iqbal Kazmi in which he stated that the process of census wasn’t transparent.

The petitioner said that the National Finance Commission also distributes resources to provinces according to their population.

He prayed the court to ban holding general elections until transparent census.

Federal government and others were made parties in the petition.
