Light rain in Lahore turns weather pleasant
Met Office has predicted more rain in different parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Light rain with gusty winds in Lahore and its adjacent areas in the wee hours of Friday turned the weather pleasant, Dunya News reported.
Rain was also reported in Multan, Jhang, Larkana, Quetta, Peshawar and several other cities across the country while unexpected snowfall in the month of April was witnessed in Chaman and Chitral.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, a westerly wave is still affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24 to 36 hours.
Met Office has predicted rain-thundershower with gusty winds at scattered places in Islamabad, upper Punjab including Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore divisions, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat divisions, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
