Shehbaz meets Nisar, Nawaz
Punjab CM also holds meeting with Nawaz
LAHORE (Dunya News): Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and former interior minister and PML-N’s disgruntled member Chaudhry Nisar held a one-to-one meeting in Model Town, Lahore on Sunday.
According to details, matters pertaining to country’s political situation and PML-N affairs came under discussion at the third meeting between the CM and Nisar in a few days.
During the meeting, Nisar told Shehbaz that the drive launched against him by some party members would not be in the interest of the party. He said it was imperative to brush aside the impression relating to PML-N’s rift with different institutions.
Shehbaz assured Nisar that no one would be allowed to violate party’s discipline.
Later, Shehbaz Sharif held a separate meeting with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umra and briefed the latter about his meeting with Nisar.
