Sindh Assembly reserves ruling on privilege motion against Ch. Nisar
Members shout shame, shame to vent their anger
Confrontation between the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) started increasing as the Sindh Assembly reserved a ruling on a privilege motion against opposition leader in the National Assembly Nisar Ali Khan on Monday.The members shouted ‘shame, shame’ in the presence of the Sindh chief minister.A 2-minute silence was observed in the Sindh Assembly session chaired by Speaker Nisar Ahmed Khoru for deaths of thousands of people in Japan by earthquake and tsunami.PPP MPA Imran Zafar Leghari presented a privilege motion against Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Nisar Ali Khan and said that he was a creation of dictatorship.The speaker reserved the ruling over the privilege motion. Earlier, PPP’s Imdad Pitafi raised the issue of restoring Hyderabad in its true shape but the speaker declared the issue out of regulation.The House also ratified a resolution to give Nobel Prize to former minority affairs minister Shahbaz Bhatti. The session was adjourned till indefinite period. The Sindh governor called first meeting of new year on March 15.
