MULTAN (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday announced to make southern area of Punjab a new province while asserting that PPP did not carry out uplift projects in one city.

The junior Bhutto inaugurated membership camp in Multan’s Kotla Tolay Khan area.

While addressing stalwarts, Bhutto urged to support him in his cause of making new province out of southern area of Punjab.

If we can build hospitals of international standards in Larkana, Tando Mohammad Khan, Sehwan, Hyderabad and Sukkur for free treatment of heart diseases, we can also build such hospitals in Multan, Muzaffargarh and Rahimyar Khan, stated Bilawal.

It is pertinent here to mention that all parties have accelerated their political campaigns as general polls 2018 nears. Bilawal-led PPP is also leaving no stone unturned to restore its lost image in the Punjab.

Earlier, Asif Ali Zardari obliquely took a jibe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chied Imran Khan while stating that tsunami ended in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) after initiating its journey from Karachi.

He was talking to media in Nawabshah.

“Naive Nawaz Sharif did not respond positively to [PPP’s] benevolence. The government of Mian sab was about to fall in 1.5 years but PPP avoided indulging in number games and saved PMLN. Had we resigned along with Imran Khan, federal government would have fallen down”, Zardari apprised Nawaz Sharif.
