PTI chief says CM's remarks look like a request for job
LAHORE (Dunya News): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Thursday rounded on Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif over praiseworthy remarks for Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
“The sudden praise of army chief by the Punjab chief minister looks like a request for job that that of praise,” Imran said in a tweet.
The statement came a day after Shehbaz Sharif said that in a meeting he had had with the army chief, he had found him to be professional and straight forward.
“We must respect and honour the efforts the army chief is making,” the chief minister had said while talking to the media after visiting the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute in Lahore on Wednesday.
