2091 Pakistanis rescued from Libya

The government has started flights operation to bring back stranded Pakistanis from troubled Libya.

According to a statement issued by Foreign Office, a special flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) carrying 466 Pakistanis have arrived from Tripoli on Tuesday and 2091 Pakistanis have reached the country from Libya. Besides flights from Tripoli, a special plane also arrived from Cairo with 199 Pakistanis and a special flight operation has been started to bring back around 3,000 Pakistanis stranded in Libya, the statement further says.
