Four bogies of goods train derail in Shikarpur

Railway authorities said rescue work has been started and the tracks will be cleared in six hours.

SHIKARPUR (Dunya News) - Four bogies of goods train going to Quetta from Sukkur derailed near Shikarpur Railway Station on late Monday night, Dunya News reported.

The accident disrupted the train service at the up and down tracks between Sindh and Balochistan. No loss of life was reported in the accident.





Railway authorities have dispatched rescue teams along with a crane from Rohri Loco Shed to clear the railway tracks. Railway sources informed that the rescue work has been started and the tracks will be cleared in six hours.

All the passenger trains running between Balochistan and Sindh were stopped a various railway stations as traffic on both the tracks was disrupted.
