Rain and snowfall on mountains predicted: Met Office

According to the Meteorological Department of Pakistan, weather in the country will remain dry in the next 12 hour.

In the past 24 hours, intermittent rain was reported in Punjab, Kashmir and in northern areas of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan. The highest rain fall was recorded in Parachinar at 42 millimeters. Whereas Dir had 28 millimeters, Rahim Yaar Khan 13 millimeters, Sukkur six millimeters and in Muzaffarabad 4 millimeters of rain was recorded. The highest snowfall at six inches was also recorded in Parachinar.According to the Meteorological Department, there is a prediction of rain on Monday in north east Punjab and Baluchistan, northern Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. There is also a chance of light snowfall on the mountain tops.
