Lahore: Transgenders protest for not getting seats in train's ladies section

(Dunya News) – Two transgender people on Monday protested at the Lahore Railway Station for not getting seats in the train’s ladies section.
The protesters, who reached Lahore from Karachi, said that the station management refused to give them seats in ladies section over which they expressed resentment, adding that they also have identity cards.
The victims further requested the administration make separate compartment for them so that they can also travel easily. The video of the protest went viral on internet after which social media users strongly bashed railway authorities for its discrimination.
