Federal minister Awais Leghari calls on CM Shehbaz in Lahore
Metro and Speedo projects provide lacs of commuters easy transport facility daily: CM Shehbaz
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal minister for energy Awais Leghari called on Punjab chief minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Monday and discussed different welfare projects and development projects.
During the meeting, the chief minister said that it is the honour of the government to reserve budget for Southern Punjab that is more than the population ratio.
Metro and Speedo projects provide lacs of commuters with easy transport facilities on daily basis, he said. Punjab CM talked about the Kissan Package worth Rs 100 billion and project for potable water as well.
CM Shehbaz said that potable water project in Southern Punjab is an exemplary project. Those who claim that Southern Punjab was neglected by the government never worked for the development of the people in their tenures.
On the occasion, the federal minister said that the government of Punjab has won over the people through historic projects in Southern Punjab.
